The Water Project: Drinking water for communities by "Junta de Agua"
This is an ongoing project to bring water to many families in San Francisco de Yojoa and neighboring communities. 1,200 families will have access to water once completed.

We are thrilled to share a project that has been making a tremendous impact on the lives of many families. With the collaborative effort of hardworking volunteers and the generosity of individuals, "Junta de Agua" de San Francisco de Yojoa, is bringing fresh spring water to villages in need.
This is a large project by pioneers, "Junta de Agua," to bring water to many families in San Francisco de Yojoa and neighboring communities. We are connected to the President and volunteers of this project and actively bringing awareness. Picture this: 1,200 families in the surrounding neighborhoods will soon have access to water, something that was once a distant dream. It's a massive undertaking, but one that will change the lives of so many. The communities that will soon have access to fresh water daily are: the village of Canaveral, the village of Tapiquilares, the neighborhood of La Union, and the township of San Francisco de Yojoa.
All the project labor is collaborative and volunteer-based by citizens from the villages. They have come together to offer their time, skills, and resources to ensure that the project is a success by installing pipes to bring fresh spring water to many households.
This project is more than just about providing access to water. It's about fostering a sense of community and solidarity among the people who live in this beautiful area. It's about creating opportunities for people to connect and build meaningful relationships, all while improving their quality of life.
